Chique Benitez, George Anthony and Patrick van GerwenChega is a young and ambitious house music label. Chega was founded beginning 2006 by three close friends, Chique Benitez, George Anthony and Patrick van Gerwen. It was Chique and George, already known in 'the scene' for their DJ-skills, who really wanted to make and produce their own records. Patrick, who runs his own design studio, offered his design-skills and was eager to participate in this new joined venture. The three of them make a strong team, determined to make Chega a succes. cb(he)gaChega the logo is an acronym. An abbreviation made up out of the initials 'cb' (Chique Benitez) and 'ga' (George Anthony). Together they form a new pronounceable word 'chega'. Coinsedently chega is a real excisting word. Chega is portugese for 'it arrives'. Or as we like to translate it, 'we arrived'!< Back |
